We crawl so as not to alert the soldiers.
We crawl and I pray.
I pray to the saints, to the Blessed Virgin, to Shiva, to Buddha, to my ancestors, the spirits of everything.
Please, please give me more gods, more goddesses to pray to!
(tense music) To survive, to keep my family safe, I learn the lesson of three monkeys.
I ask nothing.
I answer no one.
I do as I am told.
