About Season 2
Restaurateur, cookbook author and judge on The Great British Baking Show, Prue Leith opens the doors to her Cotswold Kitchen, sharing cherished recipes, tips, and handy culinary hacks in this series. Joined by her husband, John, and a cast of special friends, each episode is a unique culinary adventure as Prue celebrates her personal food heroes and husband John explores a mix of country activities on offer in the Cotswolds.
Back for Season 2, Prue Leith invites viewers into her kitchen to cook mouthwatering dishes and explore the joys of her beloved Cotswolds. Each week, Prue is joined by guests including Lulu, Kelly Brook, JB Gill, and Ruby Wax to cook, chat, and share laughs. Charlotte Church brings bursts of song, Mark Lane offers garden tips, and Ruby Wax borrows a matching pair of eyeglasses. Prue cooks solo dishes inspired by favorite recipes and happy memories, such as a paneer curry from her travels to India and a butternut squash tarte tatin that reminds her of an old friend. Prue’s husband, John, returns, adding chaos and fun to the kitchen as they whip up delights like tiramisu, haggis with a twist, and Quiche Lorraine. John also explores countryside crafts, from hedge-laying to turning surplus apples into fresh juice to picking flowers at a local farm. With 60 years of experience, Prue shares clever kitchen hacks, like freezing onions, making ‘quickles,’ and jelly from leftover drinks.
